When men and women are in the transition of divorce, there are a number of changes that create stress and anxiety. One change, however, can be helpful.
A change of work direction or career, in tandem with the multitude of other changes in the divorcing person's life, can ease the transition, and invigorate the person with a sense of new direction. The new job might also bring new income into the home which in most cases, is needed. Best of all, for the divorcing party that feels abandoned, isolated, and hurt, a transition into a new job can boost the sense of self, and deliver a needed change in perspective.
The future, once seemingly worrisome, becomes a bit brighter.
